We need help and support in many different areas to make this project happen and to go beyond to raise money for the charities involved. From raising funds for production equipment to professional video editors for post production, below are some of the ways by which you can get involved. By giving a little help we hope we can multiply the effort put in and pay it forward.

We need to raise funds for the video and production equipment with out which we won’t be able to shoot. Can you make a small contribution to production costs? There are unique rewards for every one that can donate. For more information about our fund raising campaign please visit us at our campaign page on http://www.indiegogo.com/thetattourist

No funding = no equipment to roll with. If you’d like to see this kick-ass documentary be produced and would like to help sponsor part of it, you can go directly to the IndieGoGo campaign page and please, please contribute!
We already have a great team coming together on this project, but we’re still on the lookout for more professionals that can help. If you work in the fields of video, sound, animation or web, we would like to hear from you.

Apart from getting your name in credits and the bragging rights of being involved in a kick ass project you also get a share of the final profit based on how much you put in. For more info, email us at creativeteam@thetattourist.com

We’re looking for tattoo studios to host an apprentice for a duration ranging from a few days to a couple of weeks in the following countries:

  • Germany
  • Netherlands
  • Sweden
  • Finland
  • Russia
  • China
  • Japan
  • Thailand
  • New Zealand
  • Chile
  • Peru
  • Ecuador
  • Mexico
  • USA
  • Canada

From a few days to a couple of weeks, each studio shows Drippy Gary filming and documenting one or two fundamental aspects of tattooing. Starting from basic sterilization and studio hygiene to advance colour techniques and everything in between.

As a studio owner, in addition to passing on a little knowledge to a committed fellow tattoo artist, you also get to show the world world how awesome your studio and artists are. You also get a special thanks and links back to your website on our site here and a slow rolled video credit at the end of the documentary. If you would like to have your studio featured in a intenational documentary you can get in touch with us at studiohost@thetattourist.com

To keep costs down we’re looking for hosts with a spare couch/sofa in the countries listed above. Drippy Gary has been travelling for over 3 years and he always has more fun when he’s had a chance to chill with the locals. You will receive a special thanks on our website and maybe a bit of face-time on the documentary as well. Please get in touch at drippygary@thetattourist.com

Drippy Gary has already been tattoing for a year now and hopes to fund his journey by inking up folks along the way. For a donation of a day’s average pay in your home country, Drippy Gary will ink you up and you will be thank on our webpage. You may even feature in the final cut of the documentary.

Apologies in advance, but no sleeves or back pieces, due to restrictions on time and travel size and session time. The tattoo will be limited to a 10cm x 10cm area and/or a 4 hour sitting. If you are living in the countries mentioned in this post and had a design in mind, you can register your interest atwant_ink@thetattourist.com and we will get back to you as travel plans emerge.

If you still want to help but the ways above are not for you, then you can help us shout out about the project.

Are you a blogger? Do you tweet to your twitter followers, or perhaps you have 3000 friends on facebook? The more people that know about this project the greater the chance of it being a success. Below you can find links to shout out to the world.

Thank you for your time!
